Today I’m sharing a card using ink blending and dew drops as accents. I love this technique as it adds beautiful color fast and with a stencil you choices are endless.
How to create the tile background:
1) start with your lightest shade of ink (scattered straw) and ink the center of the stencil onto cardstock with a blending brush.
2) next get your middle color (mustard seed) and start blending from where the lightest color ended out a bit more so the two colors blend.
3) finally use your darkest shade (wild honey) and ink the rest of the stencil from where the medium color ends to the end of your cardstock base.
This technique gives you a seemless color transition that is barley noticeable but has a great effect on your project.
Then you can add any of your elements that finishes off your project. In this case I used deco lines washi tape and a thin strip of mustard cardstock on the left edge of the card and then adhered DARK VANILLA DEW DROPS with liquid glue.

I hope you’ll give this a try!
